Was Checkatrade a Total Fraud?
We thought we were doing the right move by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so trustworthy with their approved traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

We Paid, But Never Saw the Work: Checkatrade Fail.
My experience with Checkatrade turned into a nightmare. I hired a trader through their service to handle some essential home repairs. They seemed reliable at first, but it ended up a horrendous ordeal.
Even though I sent the full amount upfront, the work was never done. Getting a response dried up. It's been months, and I'm still left with a house in disarray.
The platform itself has been unhelpful throughout this whole process. They offered no solutions. It feels like I've been taken advantage of.
- Run for the hills if you encounter Checkatrade.
- Don't fall into the same trap I did.
